Dongguan Dongyang Machinery Co., Ltd. has released an upgraded version of its integrated battery crush and needle penetration test machine, designed for lithium cell and battery pack safety testing in accordance with GB 31241, GB 38031 and UN38.3.

The new model integrates two test stations in one frame: a servo-driven crushing module with adjustable force, stroke and speed, and a needle penetration module with programmable insertion rate and depth. An explosion-proof chamber with observation window protects operators during destructive tests.

Optional add-ons include a temperature chamber for combined thermal-mechanical testing, data acquisition software with force-displacement curves, and video recording of each test.

The upgrade responds to growing demand from battery cell and EV pack manufacturers preparing for stricter national and international safety standards.
